Povember

• Polaroid is expensive.

Each shot cost me about £1.75.

• Polaroid needs light. A lot of light. I mean bathed in it. I wish I’d only taken shots in day time.

• Polaroid has a mind of its own. When I wanted abstract, I got representational. When I wanted representational, it got more abstract.

• Polaroid is cumbersome. I didn’t like having to fish a big camera out of my bag.

• Polaroid is conspicuous. That noise causes people to turn their heads.

That said, there’s nothing quite like it.

I’m glad I did #povember, but I probably won’t use Polaroid in the future.
